Mass Spectrometry
ESC Spectrum brings 30+ years of expertise in process and environmental monitoring and reporting and fully understands Mass Spectrometry technology. We partner with a wide range of suppliers, including Process Insights Extrel Products and Thermo Fisher, to ensure your facility is provided with the most reliable and durable Mass Spectrometry systems. We offer full integration capabilities to install in a sample system and provide field service support.
Why Mass Spectrometry?
Mass Spectrometry is an analytical tool useful for measuring the mass-to-charge ratio (m/z) of one or more molecules present in a sample. These measurements can often be used to calculate the exact molecular weight of the sample components as well. Typically, mass spectrometers can be used to identify unknown compounds via molecular weight determination, quantify known compounds, and determine molecules’ structure and chemical properties.
Mass Spectrometry has many advantages over conventional GC and Calorimeter Instruments to ensure your facility is in compliance with 40 CFR Part 60 and Part 63.
