DASProtect Levels of Service
DASProtect offers two levels of services: Sentry and Fortress. Both provide total, around-the-clock access to our web-based and phone customer support—including an extensive library of online resources on the Customer Community.
With the purchase of our Data Acquisition System, you receive a complimentary year of Sentry-level protection. However, the vast majority of our partners upgrade or extend their DASProtect coverage to Fortress because it offers additional benefits. DASProtect Fortress includes unlimited access to the StackVision Success Program. This comprehensive training program provides a self-paced curriculum that teaches new users how to best use StackVision.

Only users with an active DASProtect agreement have access to our DAS Services, including Reporting, Engineering, Regulatory, and IT experts.

Repair & Loaner Services
ESC Spectrum provides services to repair hardware failures in covered Data Controller Products. This includes remote services to assist in troubleshooting controller malfunctions as well as return-to-factory repair services, inclusive of parts and labor, for covered controllers. If any covered controller hardware is determined to be defective, we will either repair it or send replacement parts. During this time, we send a loaner Data Controller to minimize your downtime.
Spare Parts Purchasing Discount
We provide a discount off current list pricing for any purchases on Data Controller spare parts.
Replacement Purchase Discount
We provide a discount off the current list price for any purchases on Data Controllers if an existing Covered Controller Product becomes unserviceable and/or obsolete.
Access to Firmware Version Download
Download and install new firmware updates for the 8864 Data Controller.

License for Backup Server
Extend the license for covered StackVision products to install a copy of the server software on a backup server to minimize the risk of downtime experienced because of server hardware maintenance or failure if the backup server is used strictly in the event of primary server maintenance or failure.

Software and Hardware Escrow
Receive a copy of our StackVision and 8864 Data Controller software source code (“Code”) in the event that ESC Spectrum and its successors exit the stack emissions compliance reporting business and discontinue support for covered StackVision or 8864 Data Controller products without offering a path for upgrading these products or a reasonably comparable solution based upon new products.

More DASProtect Options
DASProtect Plus offers on-site preventative maintenance and support during a one-day engineering engagement scheduled one to four times per year. The day begins with a review with your staff of your DAS and daily processes. Together, you create a prioritized list of improvements and fixes. Then, the engineer works through as many items as possible with you during the engagement and documents the process.
