Data Acquisition Systems
What is a Data Acquisition System?
A Data Acquisition System (DAS) – also known as a Data Acquisition and Handling System (DAHS) – is a set of tools for continuously collecting and validating your emissions data for air compliance reporting. It is a critical component of your facility’s Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS). Watch our video for an explanation of how both DAS hardware and software work together to collect and validate air emissions monitoring data continuously.
ESC Spectrum provides three different Data Acquisition System choices – StackVision, Prism, and CEMDAS. All work with the robust 8864 Data Controller, which provides reliable data collection, computation, and storage.
